Syed is a first-year law student at the University of Windsor. He received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto, majoring in Sociology and minoring in English and Psychology. During undergrad, Syed co-founded a technological accessories business which grew to serve twenty-nine stores on consignment. Upon starting law school, he volunteered with the Community Legal Aid Clinic and also holds an executive position in the Windsor Intellectual Property and Information Technology club. He is now helping the NSRLP with the case law database project. The primary task of the case law database team is to synthesize new and evolving court decisions concerning self-represented litigants. He is motivated to make a positive difference and address some of the issues faced by SRLs.
